5 gallon prairie

I happened upon a sign saying "Silicon Prairie Street" in a developing high-tech industrial park. Reflecting upon the now severely limited perimeters of a healthy ecosystem that the irony of this street sign suggests, I set the size of this piece to be determined by a five-gallon bucket of silicone rubber.
